About me

I am a Children's Book Illustrator, Portrait Artist, and Freelance Artist whose work mainly focuses around literature and nature. Reading and playing outside were both forms of escapism that brought me joy as a child; I am inspired by the narrative imagery in various genres of fiction as well as by the natural aesthetics of flora and fauna. I enjoy and actively seek the carefree and unbiased imagination that accompanies childhood; making art is a meditative way for me to get back to that state of mind. I believe making art and getting back to that child-like state of mind is important for adults because it soothes the anxieties of everyday life and develops creative problem solving skills.
